ODD EYE NYC
A new storefront for iconic curation.
OVERVIEW
ODDEYE NYC is an online design store specializing in an eclectic mix of curated vintage and modern home goods, furniture, collectibles, and artwork.
While they previously had a physical location in NYC’s Lower East Side, ODDEYE now operates exclusively as an e-commerce platform- but the site hadn’t been updated since the store’s very beginnings.
We saw an opportunity to create a digital home for the store that met modern user standards, bridged the gap between their social media and ecommerce efforts, and framed their wealth of high-quality, compelling media more impactfully.
WHAT WE NOTICED
ODDEYE’s curators spend a lot of time crafting beautiful media for their platform, but the store lacked a framing device for this rich imagery. We created a new design that allowed bolder, impactful presentation of media to better evoke the physical experience of poring through their wares.

Most of the store’s traffic originates on social media- yet the old site didn’t have a meaningful connection to the store’s presence on Instagram. Integrated feeds and catalog improvements that made mirroring content across their ecosystem made for a more connected, compelling customer experience.
What we made
- An ultra-functional, super shoppable Shopify skin that makes the most out of the brand’s imagery.
- An improved UX experience that drives people to purchase faster, incorporates the store’s efforts on social, and ensures a super speedy, yet still distinctive technical experience.
- A new set of analytic implementations so the store has a framework to scale.
